Jack Jeffers' Gallery and Resume...

What you see on my gallery sites are what’s left of my western images and a few personal originals from my Appalachian Collection. There comes a time in life when we must turn these collectables over to a museum or an institution that has the storage and gallery space to do the collection justice. It took a while to find just the right caretaker, but with the donation of the bulk of the collection to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC this spring, I can say mission accomplished.

I still maintain a collection of digital copies of most of my more popular originals for use in magazines, books, and news features, but my days as a working artist are over. I do enjoy sharing my stories and images with others who share my appreciation for fine photographic images.

My favorite statement has always been: ART COMES FROM PEOPLE, NOT TOOLS
